Can you tell us anything more about that? Maybe their dayjobs or when you expect it to come out?
This sounds like the most, erm, edjukacionall documentary ever.

That film is currently in post-production, taking up literally all my time on the clunky Avid editing suites, giving me constant thunderous migranes and generally making my life a waking horror. Its also only a student production so it won't be released anywhere at all, probably not even youtube due to University regulations and copyright issues, (being a cover band means they're a copyright nightmare) Which makes it utterly pointless and a complete waste of time. Also, not all documentaries are educational, this ones' an observational piece with some reflexive elements to it. Or something. But having said that, I am not a documentary filmmaker. I never want to make another ever again. Real life is already too much around me. Well that was cheery

I've got a linear editing suite based on a pair of one-inch open-reel broadcast analog recorders, with a three-quarter-inch machine for duping and B-Roll, if that makes you feel any better. ;D

Wow. That set-up is truely 'old skool' yet entirely awesome sounding! A nightmare to use I'd imagine.
I guess it kinda does make feel a bit better ;D
