Do you like the idea or is it just annoying?
Please decide for me!

It provides an interesting viewpoint of the comic, but I think I prefer to take in expressions with text as one rather than getting the feel from the image in the feed and then coming to the site for what is really going on. Of course you wouldn't have been able to do that last oh so confusing comic without the rollover option.

I dunno, me, I love it. Seeing the comic without the worlds allows my brain to do a fun little interpretation of the scene before I get to the text - that's not something that any other comic I've ever seen actually does.
Really. Pshwa, you call yourself not-a-genius at comics? Heh.
Plus, and also really cool, is that without the text, we can see the art and stuff better. Maybe if there was an option for both? Which, I guess would be what this is... hm.

I say, I think this is a keeper! The art of Dreamleak is awesome, and I love going back and reading the comic without the speech bubbles there - it looks so much more real. So, Yay.

I like it, it lets me appreciate the artwork without the text getting in the way. This comic can be quite dialogue heavy at times (last comic for example, that would be ALL word balloons otherwise) so not having them there is good.

I find that the text rollovers never seem to work, no matter on which computer I am. (I'm a college student, so I wander around campus and use computers in various buildings as well as my own two personal computers.)

Calleigh - sometimes they don't work from me either, until I try clicking on the image - does that work for you?

I have trouble with 'em:
Too. Sometimes even clicking on the image won't help, but most of the time the balloons do come up eventually. So my vote would be "no," but I could easily live with "yes."

I think the reason why it sometimes take awhile is that it's basically loading a second image.

Would it be better if it was the other way round? Like have the full strip with dialogue an' all displayed first and then remove it by rolling over?
I'm thinking it would be better for those who it doesn't seem to work for and still keep those who like to see it without words happy. Maybe this deserves another poll...

Hmm, that might work - but then people might be upset that 'hey, the text dissapeared!'
I'm trying to think on an easy way to more obviously switch between the two, or perhaps just indicate that it's possible.

It was okay the first couple comics... but I feel like it's getting a little over done.

I'm still on the fence. I don't know if it's my connection speed or my browser or what, but half the time it takes way too long for the text to appear after I roll over it. I'm certain there may be a few people who are turned off by it and aren't coming back.

I think it's a little buggy... takes to long for the text to load so... I say nay. I didn't actually VOTE but... I have an opinion posted so... there.

I think your idea of having the text disappear when you mouse over the image would be a better idea, but it should definetly be kept. It's one more part of the comic that makes it unique from others.
