It's all just going to end up being a dream isn't it?

 The topic of conversation

I'm sat here trying to think of some topic of conversation to bring up and discuss in hopes it might spark a debate. Some important worldy issues.

Such as the recent thing about the English teacher in Sudan being jailed and having thousands protest for her death by firing squad simply for letting her young students name the class teddy bear 'Muhammed.'

The hypocrisies, corruption and what not in the Bush administration?

Or perhaps, the unsettling story of that Millionaire dog who has been receiving death threats and has had to be secretly relocated somewhere or other.

Maybe, the war in Iraq?

Or what about that small island of the coast of Capetown, Tristan da Cunha, and how it has suddenly been struck with a virus and they are calling for international medical aid, and how it almost sounds just like a brilliantly bad Lucio Fulci zombie film?

These are all viable topics of discussion, but all I'm really thinking is 'Why do all my socks have holes from which only my big toe sticks out from? And why is it so annoying!?'

If anyone wants to start up a debate about my socks or indeed any of these other topics, please do.

The stress on the toes of your socks is largest because that is the largest dimension of your foot. Therefore, when your socks shift around naturally on your feet, the most wear accumulates on the toes, eventually causing holes there. If you continue to wear the holy socks, the holes will widen, but should progress down your toes all the way to your little toe eventually. That or the heel could develop a hole.

Actually wearing your socks is the cause of this. As a person who wears close-toed shoes for probably less than 10% of the year, I do not have this problem.

You could always patch your socks with thicker material on the toes and heels in order to attempt to remedy this problem, but that might make them less comfortable.

Which all explains why Einstein never wore socks.

Thank god that we know now.

Those are all terrible things. I can picture myself doing that small thing and getting killed for it.
I'm gonna go find a hole now.
